Driven by a desire to promote Japan's traditional industries to the world and revitalize local industries, he left his job at a bank and founded Fruitas Co., Ltd. He launched the e-commerce site Japanese Chefs Knife Imports and sells knives, a local specialty of Seki City, Gifu Prefecture, all over the world. He learned everything there is to know about knives under President Masui of Hiro Knives Co., Ltd., which has been manufacturing the highest quality knives for over 50 years.
We hope to continue to help, however small our contribution may be, so that people in Japan and overseas can safely purchase truly high-quality products from Seki City, Gifu Prefecture, and Japan, and so that local Japanese industries can continue to produce high-quality products.
